Description
This interactive and practical class is for Professional Collision Repair Technicians who are looking to upgrade their knowledge and skills. Upon completion, the technician will understand the concepts of basic electricity and the operation of electrically operated automotive systems.
LEVEL 3 (2 DAYS) Collision Repair: Hybrid and EV Systems and Operation
Course content
- Safely approach a damaged Hybrid or EV.
- Understand, safe down the vehicle, and handling of high-voltage components.
- Remove an EV battery, evaluate and verify high voltage components.
- Replace and initialize defective or damaged high-voltage components
- Fluid filling and bleeding (thermal management and brake systems)
- Refrigeration system operation, diagnosis, repair, and charging
