Director, NAPA High Voltage / NexDrive Program Development
Yves Racette is passionate about electric vehicles. A long-time educator, he has extensive experience in teaching professional training. A vector of change, he has contributed to the electrification of transport both in the public sector and for large manufacturers. He is now director of the NAPA High Voltage and NexDrive programs for UAP, ensuring the advancement of skills and the expansion of our national network of professionals.

Chris Dekker

NAPA High Voltage Expert
Chris Dekker is an Automotive Service Technician journeyman and founder of My Garage, a modern automotive service centre in Alberta that focuses on hybrid and electric vehicles. Through early and immense investments in tooling and training, My Garage has earned a reputation as the EV service leader in Alberta and offers capability that clients can't find anywhere else. Chris himself holds an ASE master technician certification and has attended electric vehicle training in British Columbia, Quebec, New York and Utah. Today in cooperation with NAPA, Chris contributes to the NAPA High Voltage training material as well as instructing the live service advisor and parts specialist training.

Nicolas Piguet

NAPA High Voltage Expert
Nicolas Piguet is a Master Instructor at NAPA High Voltage. He was an instructor at the Montreal Motorized Equipment Trade School and has extensive experience in mechanics, working as a mechanical technician at Hyundai for more than ten years.Nicolas is now an instructor for public and private companies in Quebec and internationally. He has personally trained over 300 technicians for electric motor vehicles. Over the years, he has continued to develop his skills, notably with training at Hyundai, Kia, GM and SAE. He also collaborated in the writing of a 105-hour electric vehicle training course and writing learning guides for the Diploma of Vocational Studies – Electric Vehicle.

Edouard Michaud

NAPA High Voltage Training Coordinator
Edouard has expertise both as an automobile mechanic and in marketing and communications. He worked in an auto centre for several years, first in the workshop and then in customer service. His university studies in public relations first led him to work in marketing research and then in events, but his passion has always been working with automobiles. After several years in the NAPA Auto Parts store network, he is now a coordinator of NAPA High Voltage training and responsible for certifying new NexDrive workshops.

Mike Bailey

NAPA High Voltage Expert
For almost ten years, he was the Central/Western Ontario Instructor for UAP/NAPA. Mike has personally developed and implemented many specialized courses, taking projects from concept, through R&D, development and presentation. Prior to UAP/NAPA, Mike was a lead Automotive Instructor for the QL3/QL5 programs at the Canadian Forces School for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (CFSEME) at CFB Borden, Ontario. Mike is a licensed 310S and 310T technician in Ontario, and is certified to deliver the HRAI Ozone Depletion Certification Program, in addition to the Certification Program for the EPA’s Section 609 (Agency for environmental protection) for automobile refrigerants in the United States.
