This interactive and practical class is for Professional Collision Repair Technicians who are looking to upgrade their knowledge and skills. Upon completion, the technician will understand the concepts and of basic electricity, and the operation of electrically operated automotive systems.

Course objective
- Define the nature of electricity, component function, and connections incorporated into an electrical circuit.
- Proper use of multimeter to measure electrical properties and performance of a circuit.
- Proper use and interpretation of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Identify the types of EV batteries on the market, their particularities and the methods to validate their condition.
- Understand the differences to commonly used battery packs, including their operation and test methods.
- Proper use and care of EV-specific PPE
- Identification of high-voltage components in an EV.
